Charles Kaffie III

Lifelong Corpus Christi resident Charles Kaffie, III is the Owner and President of Kaffie Investment Co., bringing more than 20 years of experience in the structured settlement industry. Kaffie learned the business and the importance of helping clients from his father, long-time local businessman and community leader Charles Kaffie Jr., who started the company 35 years ago and regrettably died in 2020.

As the President of Kaffie Investment Co., Kaffie has earned his own significant business experience, personally brokering more than $1 billion in structured annuities and trusts to help injured victims and family members who have lost loved ones due to negligence. Kaffie grew up working on his family’s ranches in South Texas, and after attending Ray High School, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a business degree. Kaffie is a Certified Chef with a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and also is a licensed Texas real estate agent focusing on ranch and commercial sales. Charles also currently manages his family’s ranches, supervising their cattle and hunting endeavors.

While he has many interests, his primary focus is Kaffie Investment Co., an affiliate of Summit Settlement Services. Kaffie Investment handles Structured Settlements, Structured Attorney Fees, Trust Services, Lien Resolution, Medicare Set Asides, Fixed Indexed Annuities and Real Estate. A member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, Kaffie represents a new generation in the structured settlement market and responds quickly to the industry’s changing climate and his clients’ needs. He is a long-time supporter of the Corpus Christi Bar Association, ABOTA and mock trial competitions. His civic involvement includes Metro Ministries, Art Museum of South Texas, Coastal Conservation Association, and the Rise School.
Kaffie lives on Padre Island with Crystal Worcester and their children.
